Purpose of the Forum

The Forum exists to promote a better understanding of all aspects of the provision of Community Health care in South East Glasgow by the National Health Service, and in particular to:

  • inform the residents of South Glasgow of the changes in the NHS which relate specifically to their area, covering the Hospitals, GPs, Community Care and the NHS overall,
  • organise petitions or protests in support of the NHS as the members shall decide at a public meeting,
  • co-operate and co-ordinate with other Health Service Fora in the NHS Greater Glasgow Area and other health groups.
