Purpose:
The Forum exists to promote a better understanding of all aspects of the provision of Community Health care in South East Glasgow by the National Health Service, and in particular to:

  • inform the residents of South Glasgow of the changes in the NHS which relate specifically to their area, covering the Hospitals, GPs, Community Care and the NHS overall,
  • organise petitions or protests in support of the NHS as the members shall decide at a public meeting,
  • co-operate and co-ordinate with other Health Service Fora in the NHS Greater Glasgow Area and other health groups.

Membership:
Membership is open to individuals over the age of 17 years and to interest groups and other organisations. There is an annual subscription of £5 per person or £25 per group membership. Further information about the Forum can be found in the Constitution.

Meetings:
Members may attend meetings of the Forum and will receive minutes of meetings and other correspondence by email or post. Meetings are normally held on the second Tuesday of each month in the Larkfield Centre, Govanhill starting at 7:30pm.
